[link] "Aphrodite", BGM for Death Fortress Xaerous, from Gradius ============================================ A re-envisioning of the Bacterian stronghold, Xaerous. That giant green battleship on the front cover of the original Gradius game!! The final stage of every Gradius game has the player gutting this massive, transforming base. Depth of field is fun! I should do this more. "Aphrodite" is probably one of my favorite compositions to date. Done in FL Studio 6. The instrumentation was tough to pull off but totally worth it -- 1:00 through 1:20 still get me, as well as the bass intro at 0:05. Enjoy! -CB |
