The BX-829A "Justice", an original variant of the classic Vic Viper starfighter. From Gradius
========================================
Bigger, faster, louder, harder, tougher, better. I love the BP-827Z Vic Viper, her classic lines, her vintage profile. The T-301 in Gradius V came off way too squarish in close-up views. I went for a more "realistic" look here, after watching a lot of Yukikaze clips. Done in oC with a Photoshop Elements finish.

Now, for the Lord British.

Wow, that's clutch. And yet, the first thing that ship makes me think of is not Gladius, but Zone of the Enders, due to the transformable Vic Viper.

I need to draw the Varth ships someday, for soem reason I have an unhealthy love for that old shooter.

Great use of the background to create a sense of speed without speed lines, by the way :)
